Ferrovial Pulls Out Of Poland's A1

Spanish-owned Autostrada Poludnie last month pulled out of negotiations with the Polish government over the 35-year DBFO contract for 180 km of the A1 motorway between Stryków, near Lodz, and Pyrzowice, close to Katowice. Both sides failed to agree on shadow toll levels after the 12-month cooling off period allowed in the contract, which was awarded last February...
